Task
I'm shipping perishables in reefer containers, and if the temperature drifts I only find out at the port, when the cargo is already ruined. I need a screen with the temperature of every reefer and an alert the moment it leaves the allowed range.

How It Works
- Data source: reefer controller sensors read via Modbus or direct RS-485/CAN integration (NMEA 2000 where applicable); container ID mapped to slot position.
- Transmission: edge gateway on board aggregates readings and pushes via MQTT over VSAT or LTE/LEO satellite link to a shore-side cloud platform — typical polling interval 1–5 minutes.
- Alerts fire at the edge (no satellite delay) and are mirrored to shore; threshold profiles are configurable per cargo type.
