I've got a voyage export with speed and fuel consumption hour by hour, but in Excel I just can't see the picture. I want a screen that shows where we burned too much and at what speed the consumption was best.

What We'll Build

Interactive voyage dashboard with a speed-vs-fuel efficiency curve, highlighting over-consumption events on a timeline
Map overlay showing the vessel's track colour-coded by fuel burn rate (green = efficient, red = excessive)
Automated threshold alerts flagging hours where consumption deviated beyond your defined baseline

How It Works

Your hourly Excel export is ingested via a simple upload or API connector; columns mapped to speed (knots), fuel flow (t/h or L/h), and timestamp
Data is processed server-side to calculate specific fuel consumption (fuel per nautical mile), detect outliers, and segment the voyage by efficiency bands
The dashboard runs in a browser — no special software needed; future integration with onboard NMEA 2000 or noon-report feeds is straightforward

Upload a sample of your Excel file (anonymised is fine) in our project cabinet along with any baseline consumption figures you have — we'll validate the data structure and show you a working prototype screen within the first sprint.
